SMALL GROUPS AND COMMUNITY-BUILDING
Our faith formation doesn't happen in isolation from our community-building. Small groups are the way to get to know each other on a deeper level. Some of our groups at The Road Church grow organically and some are more structured. Some are study based and some focus on really fun shared experiences. All of them include food. If you are interested in joining a small group or leading a small group, contact Jacqui.
Some of our faith and community forming events:
TRC's Women's group meets at The Village on Wednesday mornings September to June, from 9:30-11:30 am. Coffee, tea and babysitting is provided. The small group is a safe haven for women where we dialogue, ask questions, engage with scripture and spiritual writings, pray for each other and build a rich community of diverse women.
Every year we make a point to step back from our daily lives and hear God in the beauty of the mountains. This is open to any woman over 18 years old. Save the date: March 27-29, 2020.
Youth Small Group
For all youth grades 6 to 9, led by Zak Robichaud.

Bible Reading at the Cafe
Twice a month we will meet in the casual atmosphere of Joyful Java to discuss the bible, how we read it, how we make sense of it and how it connects with our lives. We are following the book "We Make the Road By Walking". Contact Heather for full dates and times.
Lunch after Church
The good old potluck will never go out of style. Join us once a month for food and community and an open table.
Guess Who’s Coming to Lunch
These are specific lunches set up to meet new to you people in our community. When you don’t know whose coming for lunch the conversation will always surprise and inspire you! Watch for our next Guess Who’s Coming to Lunch event.
Girls Night Out
From appetizers to trampolines we mostly just laugh and everyone's welcome. It's awesome.
These take the place of a regular service and are a chance for our community to serve and build the community that surrounds us while forming the one that sustains us.
